This is an old dream, but one I remember vividly. It took place during a zombie apocalypse, but it wasn't a scary dream. In fact, I mostly just felt really cool, exhilarated, and excited during it. I was part of a survivor's camp. A really big one, with lots of resources. I had been walking around just kinda talking to people, I think, when someone named Cole, the head of our group, came up to me and told me we were running low on food, and that, since I was such a good scout and fighter, that I was needed on this mission to get more. There was some old building, a huge one, maybe a church or cathedral, that scouts had found on a previous excursion, and Cole wanted me to go with him to explore it. So we did. We got in a jeep, and we headed off with a small group of unnamed people to go and check out this building. When we got there, it was beautiful. Not even one zombie in sight. The roof was caved in on one side, and the other side was tilted because of it, but it was still beautiful. The debris was mostly in large chunks, and not obstructing our way. The sun was shining, and it made the white stone the building was made of sparkle. And the grass was such a vivid green. So Cole and I go inside, and the others disperse outside to check out the perimeter. Once Cole and I go inside, it's dark, but it's still gorgeous. The sunlight streaming in from the windows and the holes in the ceiling and the floors above us was absolutely stunning to look at. And in the floors above us and the roof, there was this huge circular hole. And Cole and I were here to explore, so we stand in this path of holes and start jumping up to each floor. Once we made it to the roof, we stood on the edge, the highest part of the building, and we just enjoyed the view. The forest was beautiful, and the field was so open and vibrant. I know we talked, but I don't remember about what. And then we heard shouting, and saw a huge hoard of zombies headed our way. I wasn't scared, and neither was Cole. He just nodded to each other and agreed to split up and meet back at the camp. I jumped first, all the way over the hoard, and landed safely on the ground. I didn't even need to fight them, because I just ran. I knew they'd be gone soon enough. As I was running, I found this modified camper vehicle. It had a wooden platform on the top where a pool and diving board had been installed, and the patio extended out to provide shading near the door. In that shade there was a camping chair, and ice chest, and a radio, but the radio was off. I get inside this camper to hide while the hoard passes, and the next thing I know, I'm being knocked out by someone. When I wake back up in my dream, I'm tied up, being held on the diving board, threatened with being pushed into the water, and the hoard is still going crazy around the camper. The man who had me, who was also unnamed, was interrogating me about something, something I didn't know anything about. I was angry, but mostly just because he clearly didn't believe me, and I was telling the truth. But I wasn't scared. And after a while of being interrogated, he took me back into the camper from the sunroof. He tied me to a chair and continued to interrogate me under a red light, and he had a knife in his hand, threatening to kill me if I didn't tell him what I knew. But I waited with confidence, because I knew the truth that I knew nothing about what he was talking about. And eventually, the hoard outside goes quiet. And not long after, Cole bursts in with a knife in his own hand. He killed the man holding me hostage and he freed me. I was grateful, so I hugged him tight, thanked him, and then held his hand as he led me out of the camper. Then we got in the jeep again and drove back to camp. And then I woke up.
